Born and raised in Kingston Jamaica, Buju Lynton was encouraged to join Ardstrum after meeting with two of our members for Red Stripes and jerk chicken in Long Mountain back in 2009. This led to a collaboration between Lynton and JP Paul that produced a pair of series, one each by the respective artists.

Buju officially joined in 2021 with a series of work drawn from the original “Limits” series in a larger format dated 2009 to 2011. A late starter after a career in product branding, Lynton enjoys the artistic freedom of creating from a clean slate, something that wasn’t always possible with client’s needs guiding his previous commercial work.
