For years, Marla Smythson (1935-2013) was the “grand dame” of Ardstrum’s artist roster. A development planner by profession, Smythson enjoyed a lengthy history in the visual arts. She single-handedly trained and nurtured several artists in the South American “atelier” tradition.

While Smythson originals are no longer available on the primary market and rarely found in the secondary market, Ardstrum still has limited editions on watercolor paper and canvas.
